SISANDA UMALI

PERFORMANCE
STRATEGIST

Stabilising execution before pressure exposes it.

The problem

Most organisations don’t have a performance problem. They have an execution stability problem under pressure. On paper, performance looks strong. But underneath:- decision-making slows at the exact moment speed matters most
- execution becomes inconsistent across teams
- leadership layers drift out of alignment
- small inefficiencies compound into systemic drag
This is where organisational performance loss begins. Not in strategy. In how performance holds or breaks under pressure.

the solution

Sisanda works with organisations to identify and stabilise where execution starts to slip under pressure. This is not leadership development in isolation. It is the point where leadership intent stops converting into consistent organisational execution, and performance begins to degrade. The work focuses on restoring:- clarity in how decisions are made and acted on
- consistency in how execution is delivered across teams
- alignment between leadership layers under pressure
- reliability of performance when demand increases
The outcome is not improved effort. It is stable, repeatable execution that holds under pressure.

HOW THE WORK OPERATES

Sisanda works inside live organisational environments to identify where execution starts to slip under pressure - as it happens. This is not a theoretical review or retrospective analysis. It is real-time observation of how decisions are made, how execution flows, and where performance begins to degrade under pressure. The work typically runs across a 90-day performance cycle, moving from:- exposing where execution friction exists
- stabilising how decisions and - actions are carried out
- embedding conditions for consistent execution across teams
This includes working across:- how decisions are shaped and acted on at leadership level
- how execution is carried through operational teams under pressure
- where misalignment across functions creates delay, duplication, or drag
The output is not recommendations. It is clear identification and stabilisation of the conditions that determine whether performance holds or slips.

Experience + Background

- BSc in Criminology & Psychology
- Diploma in Life Coaching
- 1,000+ hours working directly with individuals operating under pressure
Sisanda’s work sits at the intersection of human behaviour, decision-making, and performance under pressure - developed initially at an individual level and now applied within organisational systems. Her earlier work focused on how people think, respond, and perform under pressure - forming the behavioural foundation for her current work in organisational execution and performance stability. This has since been actively applied within educational and youth organisational environments, where she operates inside live systems to:- redesign operational processes to reduce execution friction
- introduce structured frameworks that improve consistency and engagement
- identify and stabilise performance gaps between leadership intent and day-to-day execution
These are not theoretical models. They are live performance environments where changes are implemented, tested, and refined in real time, under real operational pressure.More recently, this work has expanded into organisational-level application, focusing on how leadership decision-making and execution systems hold under sustained pressure.

SELECTED SPEAKING & MEDIA (Earlier Work)

Sisanda has delivered talks and workshops across educational and organisational settings, including:University of Bristol, Heathfield School Ascot, K.U.K AllianceHer personal story and earlier work on human behaviour and resilience have been featured across national media platforms, including: The Daily Mail, TalkTV, The Mirror, Cosmopolitan

about sisanda

Sisanda’s work is shaped by a deep understanding of how pressure affects human behaviour, decision-making, and performance.Early life experiences exposed her to the realities of navigating high-pressure environments - forming a lasting insight:How people perform is not just a function of capability, but of their capacity under pressure. This became the foundation of her work.Over time, this insight has evolved from individual-level application into organisational performance strategy, focused on how pressure impacts leadership decision-making, execution, and alignment at scale.

MORE ABOUT SISANDA

Today, Sisanda works with organisations to stabilise how leaders and teams operate when demand increases and conditions become more complex. Her approach combines behavioural insight with real-world application, grounded in live environments where performance is observed, tested, and refined under pressure. She specialises in translating these patterns into clear, practical shifts in how organisations make decisions, execute, and sustain performance.

IMPACT

Sisanda’s work consistently shifts how individuals and teams think, decide, and operate under pressure translating into clearer leadership, stronger execution, and more stable performance environments.Leadership & Organisational Environments:“We had the pleasure of having Sisanda speak at our K.U.K Ladies Luncheon. The strength of her message was powerful. Our guests left empowered and inspired.”

engagement

If you are a leadership team operating under sustained pressure and beginning to notice friction in execution, decision-making, or cross-team alignment, you can request an initial conversation. This is not a general enquiry process. It is a focused diagnostic conversation to determine whether execution stabilisation work is appropriate within your organisation. To help with this, please include:- your organisation and role
- the area where performance or execution is beginning to break down under pressure
- what is currently creating the most friction in decision-making or delivery
